How does a diaper subscription work? Learn how delivery rhythm, sizes, payment and cancelling work, and what to check before you start.
Diapers always run out at the wrong moment. Just after the shops close, in the middle of a busy week, or right when your little one needs the next size up. A diaper subscription fixes that: your diapers arrive by themselves, on a rhythm that suits your family.
Not every diaper subscription works the same way, though. Below, you’ll find how it works, what to check when choosing one and who it suits best.
What is a diaper subscription?
With a diaper subscription, you choose once which diapers you need, in which size and how often. After that, they’re delivered at set moments, at home or to a service point. You only need to think about it again when you want to change something.
Many subscriptions also let you add wipes and care products, so everything you use each day arrives together.
How it works at Lullabum
- Build your box. Choose diapers in one or more sizes and add wipes or care products. For each item, you decide whether it repeats or comes along just once.
- Choose your rhythm. Your box arrives every 2, 3 or 4 weeks, at home or at a nearby service point. You see the shipping cost before you pay.
- Pay per delivery. You pay for your first box at checkout. Before each box after that, we email you the total, the collection date and the planned dispatch date.
- Adjust as life changes. Change sizes, quantities and your rhythm in your account. You can also skip a delivery, pause or cancel.
You’re not tied in: there is no minimum term.
What to check before you choose
Subscriptions mostly differ in the small print. These questions help you compare:

That last question is easy to forget. Some delivery services send a replacement product without asking. We don’t: you choose what goes in your box.
How much does a diaper subscription cost?
That depends on the diapers and products you choose, how many you need per delivery and the shipping cost. Also check whether a provider charges per month or per delivery.
At Lullabum, you pay per delivery. You see the total including shipping before you pay. Before each following box, we email you the amount, so you can still change, skip or pause it.
Who is a diaper subscription for?
A diaper subscription suits you if:
- you use diapers every week and would rather not think about them;
- you don’t want to carry big packs home;
- you have two children in different sizes;
- you want a steady rhythm, with room to change it.
It’s less useful if you’re still trying lots of different brands, or if your little one is nearly potty trained. A one-time order often fits better then, and you can place one with us too.
